Now that you mention it, my shoulders are kind of sore.
I could be wrong but I think this one was examined in detail as it struck astronomers as an anomaly as well. I think the bottom line was a meteorite or something similar cut a swath through the dust ring.
P.S ( I forgot this one) One of the observed behaviors of these rings of dust and ice is they theoretically can build up an electrostatic charge and as a result, flares can be seen. Another possibility, although I think this first was confirmed.
It’s amazing to see symmetry in nature and to see such examples on a planetary scale blows my mind!
Somehow, theorizing these are examples of planetary engineering by a long dead civilization is just as cool though.
It is peculiar, but yes, I had also read what Bruce read and figure it is probably natural, but there’s still 2% of me that’s like ‘Hrm’.
It’s the ‘hrm’ part that’s more fun in my view.
But Mother Nature is quite capable of ‘fun’ stuff too.
