Inexplicata: Mexico: Cylindrical Object Plummets into Volcano?

From Inexplicata:

If a picture is worth a thousand words, the numerical value of a video is
incalculable, provided it is not a hoax. Prof. Ana Luisa Cid has very
kindly shared with us a video from the Mexico’s TELEVISA network showing the
precise moment at which a bright, cylindrical shape appears to plummet into the
smoking maw of 17,000 foot Popocatepetl on 25 October 2012. The volcano’s
eruption status is continuously monitored by Mexico’s CENAPRED agency.

Historically UFOs have been linked to volcanos, especially in South American, which on average reports more UFO activity than North America.

The U.S. Air Force’s Super Sonic UFO

From the Daily Grail:

USAF Flying Saucer Schematic for Project 1794

The National Archives have released recently declassified records from the USAF’s Aeronautical Systems Division which feature a project aimed at creating a military-grade flying saucer:

The above illustration was discovered in the pages of a document titled “Project 1794, Final Development Summary Report” (d.1956) The caption reads “USAF Project 1794”. However, the Air Force had contracted the work out to a Canadian company, Avro Aircraft Limited in Ontario, to construct the disk-shaped craft. According to the same report, it was designed to be a vertical take-off and landing (VTOL) plane designed to reach a top speed of Mach 4, with a ceiling of over 100,000 feet, and a range of over 1,000 nautical miles.

This project is not a new revelation to UFO researchers – Look Magazine had this scoop in 1955, before this report was even released:

UFO Schematic from 1955 Look MagazineThough I’m sure serious UFO researchers would be encouraged to further investigation by the National Archives’ mention that “the images here are from selected reports in just two boxes of this collection. The entire series is available for historians to research”.

The two main questions that arise out of Project 1794 though are (a) what was the specific inspiration for creating a flying saucer, and (b) what became of the project?

In the case of the latter question, opinions vary. On Wikipedia you’ll find mention of a number of research accidents, suggesting that the prototype craft was so dangerous that staff “were afraid of the machine”. On the flipside, in his book Mirage Men (Amazon UK and as a pre-order from Amazon US), Mark Pilkington wonders whether the project went ‘dark':

So what happened to America’s flying saucer? Aviation historians Bill Rose and Tony Butler see the confusing use of multiple project names for essentially the same aircraft as deliberate obfuscation, and suggest that MX-1794 went ‘black’ in its final stages. The authors claim to have seen US documents from 1959 discussing an ongoing flying saucer development programme, with Lockheed’s famous Skunkworks, home of the U-2 and Stealth planes, as a likely location.

…in 1958, just as the MX-1794 vanished from sight, Avro announced a new project, the VZ-9AV, best known as the Avrocar, an eighteen-foot-wide, three-foot high, single-pilot flying saucer. Intended as a hovering jeep for the Army, the Avrocar turned out to be a juddery, unstable and ultimately useless dud whose only role seemed to be providing comic turns in newsreels – a deliberate distraction, some say, from the real and top-secret MX-1794.

And here, for your entertainment (dare I say distraction!), is some video of the Avrocar. Accompanied by some hypnotic psytrance, allowing me to say slowly in a mantra-like fashion: “repeat after me: the USAF has no flying saucer technology”…

Heh heh, I get a kick out of the Air Force’s “Avrocar” too whenever I see videos of it. They still try to pass it of as the result of “mainstream” UFO technology. It is to laugh!

What the article fails to mention is about the same time frame as the Avrocar, the military snagged a piece of home-grown UFO tech that Otis Carr, a protege of Nicola Tesla, invented around 1957.

That is the true tech the Air Force ( and the military-industrial-complex ) uses today!

Stanton Friedman: Flying Saucers and Science

Once again apologies for my infrequent posting. I have an ongoing family health crisis ( not me this time! ) which takes my time. But I’ll give you a little food for thought this week in this UFOTV video by Stanton Friedman, nuclear physicist and premier UFO researcher and major proponent of the nuts and bolts theory of UFOs.

Personally, I don’t think all UFOs are alien space vehicles, but there’s a chance a good many of them are, and Friedman gives his case a nice reason to be believed.

Enjoy!

Snowflake UFO

From Gather.com:

An amazing UFO video has been posted to YouTube showing what is described as a “snowflake” mothership dropping light balls over an unidentified area of South America. What is it?

In the video, taken at night, a man, speaking Spanish, is amazed by the sight of a lighted ship hovering over what looks like a farmhouse. The craft is shaped like a giant snowflake and appears to be throwing off smaller lighted orbs. It’s not like anything ever filmed before.

An interpretation provided by commenters on the channel is not really necessary, since the man’s amazement is understood in any language. But his family comes for a look and are amazed as well.

There’s just no way to describe this amazing UFO which defies explanation and does not appear to be a CGI hoax. At the end of the video, a separate segment renders the image in what looks like the infrared spectrum and the light balls dropping from the craft are more easily seen.

It’s just incredible.

I’m reminded of the Cordwainer Smith story “The Burning of the Brain” in which the starship is shaped like an old Southern manor. Starships in this far future time are held together by force-fields, not metal. Thus there is no need for pressure or vacuum hulls. The description of the UFO by the witness and its unorthodox shape is no surprise if the craft is built by a highly advanced space-faring civilization.

Update: The Olympic Goodyear “UFO”

I knew it was too good to be true, darn it!

Sometimes it’s a bitch finding a decent conspiracy, lol!

Goodyearblimpolympics

When a strange, milky-white object glided over the Olympics opening ceremony and was caught on video, there was chatter that this was the extraterrestrial visitation for which UFO researchers are constantly searching.

Now we know the truth behind the strange object spotted amid the pyrotechnics spectacle. It was Goodyear’s “Spirit of Safety” blimp. And a spokesman for the company tells HuffPost why the aircraft appeared so mysterious.

To put it simply, the electric signage was turned off, so that it wouldn’t interfere with the show.

“I can definitely tell you we were up in the air for the entirety of the opening ceremonies. I can’t speak to what else was in the air, but the blimp was certainly up there during the fireworks,” said Goodyear U.S. public relations manager Doug Grassian.

“During the whole ceremony, we were providing the coverage for NBC, so we were up in the air the whole time [with our ship] the Spirit of Safety,” Grassian told The Huffington Post.

Three days prior to the start of the Olympics, the Associated Press reported that William Hill, a London betting house, had offered 1,000-to-1 odds that a flying saucer would appear over Olympic Stadium during the opening ceremony. So, people in the U.K. were already wondering — and betting on — if such an event would occur.

Alas, it was only Goodyear’s Spirit of Safety that showed up in the restricted airspace above the stadium.

The word “Goodyear” — which normally appears on the blimp — was removed, adding to the confusion and misidentification of the blimp as a UFO.

“Because we’re not a sponsor of the Olympics, we had to take the Goodyear branding off of it,” Grassian explained. “That’s why when you look at it, you probably just see blue and yellow with no words on it. It will remain that way until the Olympics are done.”

This isn’t the first time a Goodyear blimp has been mistaken for a UFO.

“It happens occasionally,” Grassian said. “I’ve been in this job roughly two years, and I’ve seen a couple of incidents where people have called us to ask if the blimp was around because they thought there was a UFO [in the area].”

Those London betting offices probably didn’t have to pay off any UFO wagers this time around.

Also there’s another correction, I made a notation about the “Pope.” Actually, it was Nick Pope, not the Catholic Pope.

Last month, former British Ministry of Defence UFO desk agent Nick Pope alluded to the possibility of something like this happening in remarks to The Daily Mail: “If aliens have studied our psychology, they may choose to appear in our skies on a significant date – the closing ceremony of the Olympic Games is one date being widely circulated by conspiracy groups.”

But in an email to De Void, Pope maintains his statement was a PR boost for a PlayStation Vita “Resistance: Burning Skies” alien-invasion video game. Even so, “It was a safe bet,” he adds. “With a TV audience of billions and with so many cameras, somebody was bound to spot something and say it was a UFO. Also, with my original remarks in mind, this is a classic self-fulfilling prophesy: I say ‘watch out for UFOs’ and because I used to investigate UFOs for the government, people read something into my remarks and start expecting something to happen. In such circumstances, any light in the sky will be seized upon by people and turned into an alien spacecraft, in some people’s minds.”

Ultimately, Pope says, the UK’s Civil Aviation Authority should be able to resolve the issue with flight logs. But in the event the CAA draws blanks, what would it portend for William Hill, the London gambling house that begat the 1,000-1 odds on UFO wagering? This word of advice from spokesman Rupert Adams: Read the fine print.

“The betting for the UFO at the Olympics had some fairly specific guidelines,” he writes in an email to De Void. “That either the serving Prime Minister or American President confirms that either of their Air Forces confirm that a UFO was seen above the stadium.” Oh, and P.S.: “The other bet we do offer is 100-1 that the serving PM or President confirms the current existence of intelligent ET’s.”

Well, Obama’s out, this being an election year, but hey, it should be a piece of cake for David Cameron. In 2009, as a PM candidate, Cameron went on the record for UFO glasnost in the UK: “I think we should be as open about these things as possible. So I should be quite happy to give you a guarantee that if I was prime minister, I would be entirely open and frank about these things.”

William Hill should place odds on that.

Nick Pope shilling for video games?

Well, I shouldn’t be surprised. Researching UFOs isn’t exactly a profit making enterprise.

We’re all in trouble if Richard Dolan starts doing the same thing though, lol!

Olympics UFO Was Definitely Our Blimp: Goodyear

CAA logs could resolve Olympics UFO

Olympic UFO

When it comes to UFOs recently, the U.K. has had its fair share.

I don’t know whether it’s because of recently released MoD UFO documents or because Britain has the Rothschilds, when it comes to conspiracies nobody does it better than the Brits ( unless it’s the good ol’ US of A, lol! ).

Olympicsufo2

Talk about an uninvited guest at the Olympics.

Friday night’s spectacular pyrotechnics display of the most watched opening ceremony in summer Olympics history attracted more than the eyes of over 40 million people. A clearly seen unidentified flying object was videotaped making its way over London’s Olympic stadium, reports Examiner.com.

The disc-shaped object is first seen entering the upper left portion of the video as the fireworks erupt over the stadium. The UFO — which appears to have a dome or bulge rising from its center — moves slowly across the sky as if deliberately observing the light-show spectacle below it.

While NBC Olympics — a division of NBC Sports — has chosen Goodyear blimps for all of its 2012 Olympics aerial coverage, the strange-looking object that appeared over the opening ceremonies doesn’t appear to be a blimp.

So what was it?

On an evening that included an apparent Queen Elizabeth and 007 agent James Bond parachuting out of a helicopter into the Olympics stadium, most people probably wouldn’t have been surprised if a staged UFO was also on the entertainment menu, just two weeks after the U.K. released its most recent batch of UFO documents.

olympicsufo1

Last month, former Ministry of Defense UFO desk officer Nick Pope suggested that a huge event like the London Olympic Games, could present itself as a prime target for otherworldly craft to show themselves to a gigantic viewing audience.

“With the summer of mass events, we are all on high alert for terrorism. But we must also cast our eyes further afield and be prepared for even the most seemingly unfathomable,” Pope said, according to PressTV.

Pope wrote earlier this year of a conspiracy theory rumor that suggested a fake alien attack would be staged at the London Olympics.

“A combination of special effects and holographic technology will be used to create the illusion of an alien invasion, the rumor claims,” Pope wrote on TruTV.com.

“If aliens have studied our psychology, they may choose to appear in our skies on a significant date — the closing ceremony of the Olympic Games is one date being widely circulated by conspiracy groups,” PressTV quoted Pope.

Maybe Friday night’s UFO appearance was a dress rehearsal.

Of course the old Project Blue Beam UFO attack from outer space was involked, this time by the Pope ( surprise, surprise, heh-heh! )

I wonder if he’s a fan of Star Trek?

Cool Colorado UFO Pictures

Let us take our minds off from the horrific event that took place a few days ago in Colorado and look at these UFOs flying formation in a thunder storm there last Friday.

If I was of a conspiratorial bent (LOL) I would ask if these UFOs were a portent of those events.

Some folks would say yes, some would say “are you nuts?”

You be the judges.

The Daily Weird     UFOs  Is the Media Ignoring a Stunning Set of UFO Images?      July 12, 2012 12:09 am     Greg Newkirk     9 Comments  Some intriguing images snapped by a photographer in Colorado have been causing a quite a bit of discussion online this week, but the real question is why they haven’t been causing more commotion in the media.  Professional photographer Greg Archer took a few shots of a lightning storm over Castle Rock, Colorado on the 6th of this month, but the most striking objects in the photo aren’t the streaks of lightning tearing through the sky, but rather the mysterious lights hovering uniform high above the tree line.

UFOs: History and the Hardware 2

It has been four years since I wrote my popular blog post UFOs, history and the hardware and while I have researched other subjects over that time, researching UFOs and what they might be comes back into my ken . I guess what is your first love is always your first love, no matter what.

During that four year period I have read works written by Jacques Vallee, Richard Dolan, Nick Pope, Zecharia Sitchin and of course, Stanton Friedman. And I’m not even counting the many podcasts and YouTube videos posted by others over those years I listened to and watched.

So what have I learned?

That reality is in the eye of the beholder.

Yeah, that could be a cop-out, but truthfully I have concluded that there might not be a definitive answer when it comes to the UFO phenomenon.

Are flying saucers ET vehicles or deep black craft made by the U.S. Military-Industrial-Complex? Well, check out Area 51.

Of course the main stream media have literally no credibility when it comes to Area 51. You be the judge.

Then there is the story of Dr. Dan Burisch/Crain of Area S-4 fame and supposed former Majestic-12 operative.

He proclaims that ETs are time travelers from the future, and thusly are a branch of Humanity not yet evolved. They are not true “aliens” at all. And he gives an excellent description of Area 51 and the S-4 complex he worked at.

Is Dr. Dan a disinformation artist or is he the real deal? I’m not sure, but I like the time traveler theory. Any descendent race of humanity colonizing another planet, no matter how Earth-like will have to undergo some sort of tranformation, either bioengineered or by natural selection. True aliens wouldn’t resemble human beings at all in my view, if one takes the theory of planetary evolution seriously.

And then there is Bob Lazar. One cannot talk about UFO hardware in Area 51 and S-4 without mentioning Bob Lazar. Although many have tried to discredit Bob over the years, his story has remained consistant  and unchanging over the years. In my opinion, I think he is the real deal, for whatever that is worth.

Of course when one talks about Bob, you can’t leave out his friend John Lear. Lear is an enigma to me. At times he smacks of unflagging credibility simply because of his mass of flying different types of aircraft over the years from the time he was sixteen years old (just from being the son of the man who invented the Lear Jet). A person doesn’t reach that accoplishment from being an unstable psycho wacko.

But then again, some of his stories are really hard to swallow. Just listen to what he has to say and you be the judge.

In closing, my conclusion is that the answer to UFO hardware is buried in the Nevada desert  and in old records at the Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Ohio. If supposed time traveling ETs from the future left any kind of hardware laying around, the military-industrial-complex of the United States has confiscated it and you bet your back-side the technology has been back engineered to the max if possible.

And these projects are beyond top secret. Even above the United States nuclear secrets.

Your U.S. tax payer dollars at work!

The U.S. Navy and UFO Files

In 1952 the United States was inundated with UFO sightings comparable to an all out invasion worthy of any movie that came out at the time.

Although most UFO files have since been released in the world (mostly from European countries and South America), none at all have been released from the U.S. Navy.

In fact, research shows that the Navy has no files what-so-ever.

Huh? How can that be? Especially during a time when UFO sightings were the order of the day, and not so much tinfoil.

Now a story has surfaced involving a former Navy Secretary (Dan Kimball) and an Admiral (Arthur Radford) whom in 1952 while flying over the Pacific Ocean in separate aircraft on the way to Guam from Pearl Harbor, Hawaii was buzzed by disc-shaped craft going over 2000 mph.

Considering the U.S. Navy has never released any official documents pertaining to unidentified flying objects, there’s some interesting reading below about how an unexplained UFO incident over the Pacific Ocean sparked an official investigation by the Office of Naval Intelligence in 1952…the contents of which are still classified.
The incident occurred over the area of ocean between the islands of Guam and Hawaii and involved the aircrews of two separate Navy aircraft witnessing two ‘disc shaped’ objects which ‘circled’ their aircraft twice and departed to the East at an approximate speed of 1500 to 2000 mph – on board the aircraft was Admiral Arthur Radford and Naval Secretary Dan Kimball who later convened a conference with the Chief of the Naval Research Admiral Calvin Bolster about making a full investigation of all Navy and Marine UFO reports.
There’s more details and newspaper articles about the UFO incident and subsequent investigation below, Project 1947’s Jan Aldrich also raises some extremely important points about the complete lack of declassified US Naval UFO documents and undisclosed O.N.I. UFO investigations.
Incident:

Admiral Radford & Navy Sec. Kimball Planes Buzzed

Navy Secretary Dan Kimball was flying to Hawaii when two disc-shaped craft streaked in toward his Navy executive plane. There is no doubt that it it actually happened. In December of 2006 Dan Wilson located an article found in the Blue Book files and Jean Waskiewicz produced a transcript of that article, which can be found at the bottom of this directory.

“Their speed was amazing,” he told me later, in Washington. “My pilots estimated it between fifteen hundred and two thousand miles an hour. The objects circled us twice and then took off, heading east. There was another Navy plane behind us, with Admiral Arthur Radford on board. The distance was about fifty miles. I had my senior pilot radio a report on the sighting. In almost no time Radford’s chief pilot called back, really excited. The UFOs were now circling their plane—they’d covered the fifty miles in less than two minutes. In a few seconds the pilot told us they’d left the plane and raced up out of sight.”

Aftermath:

After landing, Secretary Kimball had a report radioed to the AF, since it was officially in charge of the UFO investigation. When he returned to Washington he had an aide ask the AF what action had been taken. He was informed it was against orders to discuss case analyses, even with witnesses who made the reports. In regard to other Navy & Marine Corps reports …on checking, found that the Air Force had insisted on getting all copies of reports, without even a preliminary Navy investigation. As in his own case, the AF had refused to answer any questions about these sightings, except for a few that were already known to the press, which it later tried to debunk.  As soon as he learned this, Secretary Kimball had a conference with Rear Admiral Calvin Bolster, Chief of the Naval Research. He wanted ONR to make a full investigation of all Navy and Marine reports from then on and also try to get duplicate reports from witnesses in unexplained earlier cases. And this was to be kept separate from the Air Force Project Blue Book

NICAP Case Directory

Newspaper Articles:

THE CABINET MEMBER told his story to an audience of Navy officers and air cadets a couple of weeks ago at the Naval Air Station in Pensacola. He may have expected it would stop there, but since he made no such request and since nothing was said about his remarks being off the record,  I’ll take the liberty of repeating his report. On a recent flight across the Pacific, he said, he was flying at night from Pearl Harbor to Guam. Another plane, with additional members of his party, was trailing several miles behind on the same course.  Kimball stressed the fact that he has the utmost faith and confidence in the pilot who was with him that night, a pilot who has flown him for thousands of miles over a period of years.
Somewhere out over the dark Pacific, he said, the pilot came back to the cabin visibly excited and reported that a flying saucer had appeared out of nowhere, had flown abeam the secretary’s plane for some distance, and had just raced ahead and shot up into the sky and out of sight. He and the co-pilot had both watched the phenomenon, he said. He asked if he should radio a report of the incident to Pearl Harbor.
Kimball advised him not to pointing out that Pearl Harbor probably wouldn’t believe the story. Instead, the secretary suggested sending a message to the plane astern and ordering them to keep a sharp lookout for any unusual sights.IN A MATTER OF MINUTES, the second plane radioed excitedly that a flying saucer had just come down and flown alongside the wing tip, then had shot ahead and vanished into the sky.
Shakespeare had it right; “There are stranger things in heaven and earth, Horatio, than are dreamt of in your philosophy.”

U.S. Navy UFO Investigation:

Image: Dan Kimball.

And we know absolutely that another one existed and that it was ordered at the highest levels. This was the study ordered by Secretary of the Navy Dan Kimball, and soon-to-be Chairman of the Joint Chiefs Of Staff, Admiral Arthur Radford, that was precipitated by the close passage of their planes by a UFO in mid-Pacific, and the subsequent blunt uncooperative treatment of the Secretary’s aides when they later inquired about the incident from the Air Force. Kimball ordered, through Radford, that a separate Navy file be maintained, particularly of Navy cases, since the Air Force could not be trusted to act in a responsible and civil manner as to openly sharing information as to what was going on.
The Kimball/Radford study was headed by a commander, Frank Lowell Thomas, out of the Office of Naval Intelligence [I think that this is correct, but it could have been ONR instead—these two offices work pretty closely together]. Commander Thomas’ study/file went on for an unknown amount of time; it could have been a year, it could have been several. Radford didn’t retire from Chairman of the Joint Chiefs until 1957—pretty close to when Keyhoe’s informants were keeping their file “with the approval of the Admiral”. We don’t know if there was any relationship whatever between these two files, or even if they in some ongoing form were the same thing. Whatever the exact situation, one can never say with any honesty that the Navy had no interest in UFOs. And, those early files contained some of the best cases of the era, and would be historically important.

UFOs & The Enigma of the United States Navy

Missing Information:

MUFON

In 1962, former Secretary Dan Kimball and Admiral A.W. Radford were on planes flying between Guam and Hawaii and were circled by two high-speed flying discs. A disc flying around military people of this stature should be the only confirmation required by public, government, science alike to accept that discs do fly and they are not ours. We still have not seen the flight reports. The sighting was confirmed by a U.S. Naval Research, Chief Admiral Calvin Bolster. The full text of the investigation should be released. In addition, other UFO investigations done by Naval Research should be released.

The statistics in the article below about FOIA UFO documents just about sums up the UFO declassification status of the U.S. Navy and Jan Aldrich’s article also makes some very astute points about missing US Naval UFO Information including Secretary Kimball’s ONI UFO project in 1952:

Ever wonder what the U.S. Government has in their filing cabinets?  Search more than 530,000 pages of declassified documents obtained through the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) and find out..
This section contains batches of documents that have been received from multiple agencies.  The FOIA request was for all documents relating to UFOs… the following is what was released:

Notice that the Navy officially has no record regarding the incident in spite of the involvement of very high ranking officials.

Is this a lie, or did the Navy bury any files so deep the nobody can find any written report at all?

Is this because the UFOs were actually deep black Navy projects and the Secretary and Admiral were supposed to inspect the characteristics of the test articles?

Or were they ET craft from interstellar space (or the future?).
