Name, Theme and Format Change

Welcome to Children of the Lens, Seekers of Tomorrow. The old theme was just that, old.

My aim is to improve the content and hopefully, keep my readership informed.

Feel free to offer advice. No profanity though, only I can do that.

Enjoy.

  1. NO PROFANITY??? Awwww…. (darn) it! 🙂

Children Of The Lens? Seekers Of Tomorrow? You going guru on me, marine? Hey, if you are, I want in on the action! Maybe I can get a Nobel Prize like that phoney-baloney Al Gore did. We can get a real cult going here, like he has, if we work it right!

Well, I like the dark theme you have… no-nonsense, without all of the badges and pictures and awards and crap that others like to display. Yep, pretty nice!

    Change is always good… sometimes… I guess!

    🙄

(Did I tell you he’ll be the next prez?)

  2. Actually, I was shooting for that 1930s pulp sci-fi space opera hammy theme.

But if you say mystical, I’ll go with that. 😎

When are you going to let go of the Gore-acle? That environmentalist stuff really has you tweaked, doesn’t it?

I’m not worried about the Gore-acle being the Pretzel-nuts of the Lower 48 here, despite the fantasy wishes of the uber-left. He’s moved on to bigger and better things in the Rothschild Bankster Syndicate.

  3. Anything that deals with the NWO deception has me tweaked. If I could get a ride off of this planet to one where they actually think without having to touch themselves first, I’d say Que sera sera, tip my hat to the sheeple, say have a nice… whatever, and be on my way! Otherwise, I’m stuck here with the herd, but, if I gotta be branded and slaughtered with the rest of ’em, I’m gonna squeal bloody murder while I can!

You should have thrown up a Mercury Theatre presentation of “War of The Worlds” and ol’ Orson Welles, to set the mood! I used to listen to all of that old stuff in the truck on long and boring night runs. Art Bell, too. It all seemed more real in the wee hours! Kinda miss those days…

Yeah, Gore’s the sweetheart of the politically-correct, and he’s proven himself a willing and effective instrument of the NWO… they like that! Plus, he’s popular with the left, which are coming unglued over on the lefty blogs. I can see him playing hero and coming in at the last moment… with the NWO’s blessing, of course!

You gonna be doing any Flash Gordon?

  4. Sorry dad, but the black background will mean it’s a wrap for me as a participant. At 63 with less than sterling vision the small font against this inky black background is just too much for me to work around. In the past you had a similar black background so I simply monitored your site on occasion. Once you changed it to the white background, very readable format I decided to climb onboard to participate. In fact I made a comment to that effect when I made my first comments back around Christmas. Good luck on your new format. It’s been fun.

  6. Sorry Carl, I honestly forgot about that. That old format wasn’t quite going with the mood of the blog though. Keep monitoring, you never know when I might get bored with this format too!

Good luck my man and we’ll run into each other again on the evolving Google-plex I’m sure! 😎

Highway: That’s not a bad idea. I love old classic radio sci-fi too. Maybe some George Noory too if I can wrangle it. 😎

  7. Hi dad2059…

Hey get a grip dude…! At first I thought I’d simply exit the site based on the discomfiture of your new format.

There’s nothing scary nor mysterious about his nuisancesome black background and the micro-font against the same.

Your former format and even the site title was jsut fine! There’s many of these “dark” formatted sites on the web. Most savvy folks once visiting them, go ugh in terms of the visual, unfriendly format. So yo uaren’t engendring fear and trepidation with your “black” projects format, but simply prompting people to move on. I’m not stating this to bust your balls good buddy, but you need to say “let their be light” as God Almighty did on the seventh day! I’ll miss your site, but I had to get this off my chest. Don’t take it as personal, but simply as constructive criticism concerning a poorly chosen new format.

  8. Carl: ????

Yeah, I know there’s dark themed stuff out there and it’s not my intention to inspire fear or trepidation. Just an air of mystery.

As I said at the beginning of the month, I was going to be experimenting a few months at a time. If it doesn’t work so well, I’ll go with something else.

  9. My apologies dad2059…

I was two sheets to the wind on Fosters Bitters and seemingly in a somewhat cranky mood. I had to laugh too in that I said God said let there be light on the seventh day instead of the first. I must have thought in my befogged brain that he worked graveyard shift and liked to work in the dark only providing light when his work was complete on the seventh… 😉

Good Luck on your new format. I’ll check back from time to time.
