“We’ve always been at war with Eastasia…”

Those famous words from Orwell’s ‘1984’ have received a lot of airplay and viral spreading via the ‘Tubes the past seven years, but they have stepped closer to reality than one would think recently as the Pentagon actually acknowledged finally that they’re planning ‘perpetual war’ for the next twenty to thirty years:

Under the auspices of the US department of defence and department of the army, the US military have just published a document entitled 2008 Army Modernization Strategy which makes for interesting reading against the current backdrop of deteriorating international fiscal, environmental, energy resource and security crises.

The 2008 modernisation strategy, written by Lieut Gen Stephen Speakes, deputy chief of staff of the US army, contains the first explicit and official acknowledgement that the US military is dangerously overstretched internationally. It states simply: “The army is engaged in the third-longest war in our nation’s history and … the Global War on Terrorism (GWOT) has caused the army to become out of balance with the demand for forces exceeding the sustainable supply.”

Against this backdrop, the 90 page document sets out the future of international conflict for the next 30 to 40 years — as the US military sees it — and outlines the manner in which the military will sustain its current operations and prepare and “transform” itself for future “persistent” warfare.

The document reveals a number of profoundly significant — and worrying — strategic positions that have been adopted as official doctrine by the US military. In its preamble, it predicts a post cold war future of “perpetual warfare”.

According to its authors: “We have entered an era of persistent conflict … a security environment much more ambiguous and unpredictable than that faced during the cold war.”

It then goes on to describe the key features of this dawning era of continuous warfare. Some of the characteristics are familiar enough to a world audience accustomed to the rhetoric of the global war on terror.

“A key current threat is a radical, ideology-based, long-term terrorist threat bent on using any means available — to include weapons of mass destruction — to achieve its political and ideological ends.”

Relatively new, “emerging” features are also included in the document’s rationale for future threats.

“We face a potential return to traditional security threats posed by emerging near-peers as we compete globally for depleting natural resources and overseas markets.”

Finally, an admission for planning forever wars and above all, wars over dwindling resources.

It doesn’t make one feel better having your fears confirmed, eh?

The elitists have certainly made it plain that Orwell’s ‘1984’ and Huxley’s ‘Brave New World’ aren’t just great prescient works of fiction, the bastards are using them as blueprints for total control of the planet’s population and resources.

Right under our very noses!

Essentially saying, “You fools, here are two works of literature that are telling you sheep what we are doing, and you’re too stupid to do anything about it!”

And to that, just what are we going to do about it?

US military plans the future as ‘perpetual warfare’

  1. Hi dad2059…

No doubt many folks have watched the “Terminator” series of movies starring Arnold Schwarzenegger.

The most terrifying aspect of the film series is that the “bot” from the future represents awesome technology and no matter what the heroin/s of the movie do, the “Terminator” manages to walk out of the fire, survive mind-boggling exchanges of gunfire or even still twitching after being crushed by a hydraulic press, the arm manages to move forward with its programmed mission to kill John Connor; ie., the United States of America and the free world) !

This is what our MIC; ie., military industrial complex has become; ie., a force equal to that of the “Terminator”, but in its case is virtually devouring the taxbase of this nation and no one seems interested in pulling the plug on the monster…shouting “Your’re terminated f**ker…!”

The corruption associated with the defense sector is so pervasive and all-encompassing that it will surely destroy the U.S. and the entire planetary paradigm before it comes to a halt!

The root cause of our nation’s demise lies within the bloated, unquestioned ever-fattened defense budget. We outspend the rest of the world in terms of defense spending by a factor of 90 percent!

The up coming defense budget has bloated to the 630 plus billion dollar level and is within 100 billion of the plan to ripoff the U.S. taxpayer concerning a bailout to buy up Wall Street and the criminal banking cabal’s bad debt….?!

Although the defense budget is mind-boggingly bloated, at least “we the people” get some “killtoys” in return…no?! : | What about the bailout though…!

  2. “And to that, just what are we going to do about it?”

Well, the answer to that is…

“… and you’re too stupid to do anything about it!”

The hard truth of the matter is that sheep need to be led. If need be, they will allow a wolf to do the leading. I think that common sense still does strive with humanity, but fear of the unknown – i.e. a society free from regulation and commerce – is just too much for the masses to handle. They would much prefer to be kept slaves than to have to rebuild society. Even being slaughtered and herded and pressed into military service at their elitist master’s whim, is preferable to a future of uncertainty.

As someone pointed out to me not long ago, my “blind faith” has answers for me that they deem a poor choice next to logic, but there isn’t much logic in what’s happening in the world, today. Perhaps it’s because the foe isn’t logical or scientific, or the course of events not entirely the result of a random universe.

One thing is for certain, and that is there is a plan to subjugate mankind into a one-world oligarchy, and we’re playing right into their hands by participating in their foolish distractions. That, I’m informed, will not change. Men will continue to worship their own image, even if that image is in the form of an elitist banker or industrialist, or some religious icon or relic.

Things are heating up fast… we shan’t have long to wait, now.

  3. “Even being slaughtered and herded and pressed into military service at their elitist master’s whim, is preferable to a future of uncertainty…”

Unfortunately, that seems the case, here and the world over.

Although the elitists have unbridled power, I think we give them more power than they actually have and that’s the very crux of the matter.

Through the use of propaganda and mass mind control, the elitists convinced the middle-classes they need to give total control to them for their safety from the ‘evul turrists’.

You are right HW in that you once said that all the elitists have to do is control the middle-classes, because they are capable of forming alliances and have the education necessary to question elitist authority.

But they didn’t count on the Internet being able to unite people all over the world like never before in history.

And that’s why they’re scrambling on all fronts to control it. Even in China, if Google wasn’t helping their government censor it, they would have no luck controlling it!

So we’re giving them more credit than they are capable of I think.

  4. I suspect ‘the Internets’ too are a transient phenonomenon. Mass media ‘killed off’ phampleteers and online it’s too easy to play dirty tricks and identify threats to the mind-numbing drivel. It’s enough to make one think subliminal conditioning via television and dumbing-down via fluorine in water and bromine as chemtrails really are at work.
Orwell was harassed by government services : it seems likely personal experience played a part in his story.
    That’s an Orwell bit.
Brave New World being written by a professor of pre WW l vintage should give us an idea of the timeline at work here.
I even had blogrolled a lady blogger from the UK to chat with who had been detained by their security services. Hunting for her online has become fruitless after her blog was pulled at WordPress : though she was going to university last I found of her.
YouTube has a series of exposes for those who are willing to explore the wild and wonderful : as you doubtless know.
Controlling the middle classes looks like it’s set too. If there isn’t one…no problem.
Certainly the threat from the inner circle will be obvious. If you go back to the circumstances surrounding the establishment of the Great Charter ( Magna Carta ) and Habeas Corpus in England in 1215, you’ll find that untrammeled central authority really rankled the lieutenants. They, not the masses, clipped the wings of autocracy.
There is less civil protection now then, than there has been since almost 800 years ago. Whee !
Yep, Those Nazis sure know how to ‘lose’ a war.

  5. Hey opit, long time no see!

Yup, control of the middle-classes are essential for elitist dominance, no doubt about it.

True, the Magna Carta and the subsequent formation of the English Parliament were the results of second tier nobility who tired of authority who was constantly undermining theirs.

The InnerTubes someday will become the ‘mass media’ and quite possibly will come under total elitist control.

I think by that time however, it will have become something totally different by then…

  6. Do recall the initiatives by the government to access YouTube user information : unless you think litigation information will somehow not be accessible to them! ViaCom, wasn’t it ?
I have posted methods for people to be more secure online – but think stuff like my daughter’s observation that it would be easier for family to stay in touch via Facebook is more typical.

  7. Stuff like Facebook gives out too much info IMHO. I don’t partake, but my offspring do.

Bu$hco and Criminal Congress have indicated willingness to spy and tap anyone they wish, but not glamorous stuff like ‘Minority Report’, more like Amerikkkan version of an Indian call center.

Loyalty? In a bad economy, $10/hr. loyalty might be bought.

  8. Reminds me of a wry observation about a revived corpsicle who came back after 100 years. A millionaire : a phone call costs $10,000 / min.
    Stagflation is knocking hard.

  9. “Stagflation is knocking hard.”

You bet. Especially since the “Bail-out” got passed, like gas through a stinky orifice.

They’re gonna try again later this week.

More people living next to the river under bridges, are mass exterminations by Blackwater mercs next?

  10. Yep, Duhhbya’s whining on the tubes this morning, but not one bit apologetic for his promotion of the Ownership Society, Freddy Mac, & Fanny Mae, among other things. Who’s suffering the most? The Fat Cats or the folks that are on the streets with no home and no money.

This Macheavalian corporation that poses as a government has run every aspect of government, business, education, military, FBI and CIA from the top down from the day they took over the White House. So now Bu$hco tells us that the government needs to act on a Bailout for the inevitable crash of an inflated market which was caused by his own lies.

This new modernisation of the military really gives my arse the heartburn, like we didn’t question the permanent bases and the Disneyland Embassy that was started right after the invasion in 2003. Congress refused to give funding, but it was built anyway.

In April, 2008 Names Carafano from the Heritage Foundation did an artical on the long war and the need to use Direct Energy Weapons for future defence issues. This is what’s probably in store for Iran, and not the first time that they have been used, not to mention the use of Microwaves to herd the sheeple…G:

  12. Direct energy weapons are the order of the day, near and afar.

The elitists and their minions are arming up for their staged Armageddon and is a real possibility if the economy crashes for real.

    Monopoly money printing not withstanding.
