When I started this blog twenty months ago ( a long time in InnerTube terms ), it was mainly a partisan political endeavor with a smattering of science, conspiracy theory and sci-fi.
What a difference a few months make.
As I have left the political arena to explore more esoteric subjects, I discovered there was a man hidden behind the green curtain pulling and pushing levers, billowing smoke and being told, “Don’t pay attention to that man behind the curtain!”
Not only did I find the man controlled “The Wiz”, but he controlled The Good Witch of The North and The Wicked Witch of The West!
So politics in the traditional sense ceased to have as much meaning or purpose to me.
And what does the significance of Obama’s ‘win’ mean to me?
Well, it’s hard to say. I’ve learned to be very sceptical of people who aspire to power.
And people brought to power backed by big money should always be scrutinized, whomever they are.
Because it is ‘them’, not us, the so-called ‘elected’ most often serve, much to the detriment of the voting public.
If you doubt me, just look at the history of the United States since John Kennedy’s murder and see for yourselves who, and what gained the most.
And it wasn’t the ordinary citizen most of the time.
But I have to say that the neo-liberal crowd, despite the way they raped and pillaged other lands through the banks and military, they tended to toss more scraps from their banquet table to us slaves more often than the outright fascists, who not only killed and pillaged others, but their own slaves as well.
Now as President-elect Barack Obama starts his transition to the White House and takes the reins of pseudo-leadership from the Bu$hco Criminal Group, the world watches in the hope that some kind of change comes about that leaves the surreal feeling of Dystopia far behind.
Don’t count on it. The same people, or a branch of them anyways, simply have backed another front-man to carry out the non-elected agenda of a planetary government with no restraints.
Just like tag-team wrestling.
That in of itself isn’t evil, it’s entertaining if looked at realistically.
But in this form, whole populations die by design, not by occasional accident.
What say you, political partisans?
What will you say in two, three or four years time?
Will you say the same things about Obama you said about Aunt Nancy a year after the ‘election?’
Will the blue pill be bitter then?
