As much as I’m loath to use anything from the All News Web, this little vid on YouTube looked pretty cool, whether it’s photoshopped or not.
Can anyone say “balloons?”
The theory of panspermia has enjoyed a renaissance recently in the studies of extraterrestrial life as a possible explanation of how life formed on Earth. So mainstream scientists in their infinite wisdom have already proclaimed that mankind is the only intelligent species in the galaxy and we have the moral mission to spread our earthly germs all over the stars.
Well, scientist Michael Mautner isn’t one of them, but he is a proponent of panspermia. In fact instead of seeding already living planets with our germs, he advocates seeding nebulae that have the building blocks of our form of carbon-based life with the germs.
Sounds good to me. First though, catch his interview with Heinrick Palmgren on Red Ice Creations and see if this concept is even plausible.
